Affirmations

Affirmations are powerful words. An affirmation is really anything you say or think, negativly or postivly. A lot of what we usually say and believe can be quite contrary and sometimes doesn’t create good experiences for us. We have to retrain our thinking and speaking into positive patterns if we want to change our lives.

Affirmations help purify our thoughts and restructure the dynamic of our brains so that we truly begin to think nothing is impossible. The word affirmation comes from the Latin affirmare, originally meaning “to make steady, strengthen.”

Affirmations do indeed strengthen us by helping us believe in the potential of an action we desire to manifest. When we verbally affirm our dreams and ambitions, we are instantly empowered with a deep sense of reassurance that our wishful words will become a reality.

Affirmations are proven methods of self-improvement because of their ability to rewire our brains. Much like exercise, they raise the level of feel-good hormones and push our minds to form new clusters of “positive thought.” The mind can not distinguish real from fantasy. We must train the brain to understand concept.

Every thought you think, and every word you speak is an affirmation. All of our self-talk, our internal dialogue, is a stream of statements. You’re using affirmations every moment whether you know it or not. You’re affirming and creating your life experiences with every word and thought.

You can repeat affirmations anywhere and at any time of the day or night. There are many benefits of affirmation which include: personal growth, reeducation of negativity, improves your health, help you reduce stress and anxiety; You start to notice good things happening to you, you have a better outlook on life,  you can focus, you become aware of your love and gratitude for yourself and others.

So, think happy thoughts, it’s that simple. And it is doable. The way you choose to think, right now, is just that-a choice. You may not realize it because you’ve thought this way for so long, but it really is a choice. Now . . . today . . . This moment . . . You can choose to change your thinking. Your life won’t turnaround overnight, but if you’re consistent and make a choice daily to think thoughts that make you feel good, you’ll definitely make positive changes in every area of your life.
